I went to one of my favorite QS today and found the perfect backing fabric for a quilt I'm working on. The owner said I have the perfect fabric...Not available until week 1st of Sept. I was very bumbed. But, a great excuse to go back next weekend. She did open the pacakge so I could see and feel it. Just my luck. Hope everyone is enjoying there weekend.

Well at least you know they have what you want. Thats exciting and like you said it gives you another reason to go back.

If it was there, why were you not able to buy it?

Yeah that doesn't make sense.

Or at least put a "hold" on it until you were able to get back to the shop.

She claimed it was a fall fabric and not in the computer yet. It's ok it's worth the wait.

If it's the perfect fabric it's worth another trip. Who knows what they may have them. I love looking at fabrics.
