I took a class from Ann several years ago. It is very hard to cut small applique with anything larger than the 28mm cutter. It was a great class and my project came out great. I do cut all applique whether it is needleturn or other like she cuts it. It is twice as fast and just as accurate for me. she has a great tutorial and some videos out.
