My dil is pregnant with the forth baby and they do not know boy or girl yet. They have 3 girls but this is the last baby and really want a boy. I got lots of blue pretty fabric for a quilt, just to be on the safe side should I use a lot of yellows and greens or just make the blue and give it to someone else if its a girl?

I would use both, two quilts.

If you nave the time and resources I think I would make a girl quilt and also a boy one. You can always find a home for the one you don't use:)

I've always hated the idea of "boy colors" and "girl colors." Kids don't care until we teach them to. Make whatever you like.

We didn't find out the sex of our little boy. I got a beautiful quilt that was just done in baby colors. White, blue, green, yellow, pink. All soft. It was perfect. I would have used it for a boy or girl.
