Wanted to warn you about this neat new item. Can't remember, threw away the packaging, but this is called something like a Gripper Slider???? It is 24 by about 2.5".

I just got this because I figured it would be a good answer for my arthritic hands. It has ball like things that push into the fabric to keep it from moving while you cut. BUT, it does NOT have any measuring lines on it. This is a huge problem at times. Even in cutting off selvage one needs to be able to measure how far in you are going! It works like it is advertised, but I have a feeling the second generation is going to have lines on it. I'm sure it's meant to be used with a cutting board, but that doesn't negate the need for those lovely little lines! You can't line up something well w/o lines, the one edge just doesn't do it. Just a heads up so maybe some of you will wait until they get lines on it. If you know what I'm talking about, send them a copy of this.
