I love my Juki and do almost all of my stitching on it even though I have a top of the line Janome set up and ready to go. My Juki sews so much better than the Janome. Now if they'd just make this machine with just a few stitches such as zig-zag, buttonhole, I'd have the perfect quilter's machine.

Shlelbie--Juki does make a machine like that. I believe it is called the F600 or Exceed series. Those I know of who have one love it just like they do the 2010. I have been drooling over either or both for some time now although I still love the Bernina I have. I have a fairly new Pfaff too but am having a hard time bonding with that one--they are not the same as they used to be. I have heard only good things about Juki's.

When I was at the sewing machine shop, 4 very experienced quilters I knew came in. At least one I know quilted professionally. They tried the Exceed and all preferred the 2010Q. It was quieter and there was something about the bar by the needle that they didn't like. If you want, I can ask more about their reviews at the retreat today!

I sold my 98tl and bought the 2010Q. I loved my 98 - I adore this one.

I bought the 2010Q several months ago after having used a Janome 6500 for many years. Absolutely love it. I accidently forced the bobin door and broke it. Emailed Juki and they sent me a new door immediately.
