New LQS opened.
A non quilting friend just called and said there is a big quilt store that just opened about 2 hours away. She checked it out for me since she was in the area yesterday. She said it's big and bright and full of quilting stuff, but she doesn't remember the name of it or exactly where it is in the town as she wasn't driving. Leaving a note for DH and I'm off to find it. :) I love day quilt trips!

Heck yea! Road Trip! Have fun :)

Oh wonderful. I hope they have lots of loyal customers and do a booming business.
May you find a bounty of treasures with the sun in your face and the wind to your back!
Have a great time shopping!
Sounds like fun! Looking forward to the report!
Have a great day, stay safe and give us a full report when you get home!
Will you post at least the name of the town it is in. Probably nowhere near me but since we can't tell where you live we just have to guess if it might be near us also. Thanks!
We want pictures of what you get at the new LQS. Have fun!
two hours away from where? from your "front row"? (where you state you are from!) LOL...
Sounds like you are off on a fun adventure! Have a great time!

I live in the same town as Bellaboo, outside of Little Rock and I know of one shop that has opened in the last few months but it is more local so it must be one in North AR. Sadly they open and close fast around here.

It would be interesting to know where this "great new store" located. does us no good to just know one has happened. And your profile doesn't tell where you are othere than "front door"are you keeping this a secret

Field Trip!!!!!
I'm back! I was tired so took a long nap so now I'm up at midnight. The shop is in in Fordyce, AR. I bought a lot of Christmas fabric that was on sale. I had a great lunch and met several other quilters from the area that were shopping. I have my location listed in my profile.
take me with you!!!
When you find it, please post where it is. I am hoping that it will have a website also.
Swing by central Maine and I'll keep you company on the trip :-)
i don't look at profiles. I look at the info on the left of the page where posts are printed. I don't have time to scroll thru all the stuff to try and find the location.

I didn't think of that and after thinking about it I still won't move off the front row. LOL

Yaaaaay! Clapping my hands and smiling........
Thanks for letting us know you are in Arkansas. That's not too far for me to do a road trip--soon.
Glad you had a fun day...
Sew jealous, but glad you had a good trip. I bought a lot of Christmas fabric on Friday at Hancock's when I went to pick up my newest baby-another FW. Now I just have to stay home long enough to put them to use! I didn't get the FW @ Hancock's. It just happened to be nearby. DUH!
where is it?
BellaBoo, was it worth the trip? Fordyce is about 2 hours from me too. But it needs to be fabulous for me to want to drive 4 hours there and back.
Have fun and don't forget to show off your goodies!!!
