I have the Janome 8900 and love it. The extension table that comes with it along with the large harp space really will spoil you.

I have the Janome 6600 Professional and do all my own FMG and have quilted many quilts with no problems. You will love it and it is a step up from mine so even better. Enjoy!

Congratulations on your new sewing machine. I have had my Janome 4000 for several years and she is still getting a workout with quilts, dresses for our DGD, misc. quilts and other projects, so I am very pleased that I traded my Singer in for the Janome.
