New Machine
 

Thanks to everyone who has posted their thoughts on the Husqvarna Sapphire 960Q. I brought it home yesterday and got to play with it for a couple of hours. I love the quilt stitches on it and it seems to be a great machine. I've always owned Vikings so wasn't surprised about that. I had considered the 930 but after reading all the great comments I decided to go with the 960. I'll be absent for a month trying to figure out all this baby can do.

I just bet you won't be learning the machine and how it works all that long. You'll be sewing like a pro in no time.

We'll be buried in snow starting Sunday, so you will get some extra days to play!

Housecleaning around here is a thing of the past. I figure if I can't see it, it doesn't exsist. One advantage of sewing in the basement. As soon as I figure out how to post pictures from my phone I will do it.

He's so good to me, bought me the 960Q when I was going to buy the cheaper 930. He will cook or he will eat whatever I manage to cook. We eat a lot Marie Callender's frozen meals. No leftovers, inexpensive and everyone can have what they want. For the two of us it works out fine. I'm pretty lucky!

I now have three old Vikings sitting in my sewing room. A 330 electronic (for sale), a #1+ embroidery machine, I won't ever get rid of and a Lily 535 who might also be going up for sale soon. I have my mother's old Singer and will probably get her newer Kenmore as well so I'm getting a bit overrun with machines. Love my Vikings.
