Hi! I was wondering if anyone has seen this before? I was playing around and came up with this design that I really like.

No, I don't think I have seen anything exactly like it. Very interesting. I like it!

Bluebonnets 09-12-2017 05:39 AM

That is really neat and I like it a lot. Don't believe I've seen anything quite like it.

SusieQOH 09-12-2017 05:41 AM

I like it!! Haven't seen it until now.

red-warrior 09-12-2017 05:52 AM

I really like it too and have not seen it before. Great design by you!

ArtsyOne 09-12-2017 06:16 AM

I like it - I can see all sorts of patterns in there, like a mutated card trick or a center square surrounded by sashing or even flying geese. Good job!

Geri B 09-12-2017 06:23 AM

Not exactly like your color placement, but it appears to be - from top left to right- square of one color - say 6 1/2"-cur-other blocks are strip (3 1/2" X 6 1/2", and two 3 1/2" squares- one of same color as strip, other same as first 61/2" square....then when sewing into rows, turning to make the "link look". That's how I would break it down....perhaps a quicker way, but just off the top of my head

Bobbielinks 09-12-2017 06:25 AM

No, I haven't seen this pattern before. Great idea!

Ariannaquilts 09-12-2017 06:31 AM

Possibly something similar but not exactly the same. You did a good job of designing this.

DJ 09-12-2017 06:34 AM

It looks similar to MSQ Falling Charms but it's not. Looks new to me, too, and I like it! Hard to believe it's not "out there somewhere". Someone here will know!

willferg 09-12-2017 08:05 AM

Very nice design...I look forward to seeing it in fabric!

I was thinking of using these fabrics.

Geri B 09-12-2017 01:43 PM

Hmmm, needs only 4 fabrics....1.stars for background(squares), 2. Robots, 3. Green tonal, 4. Rocket ships.....or ???
i think I would not use that many different prints.....jmho

ILoveToQuilt 09-12-2017 02:35 PM

Love the pattern! You do only need 4 fabrics. I agree with Geri B: #1: Stars #2 Robots #3 Green. #4: Rocket ships or other medium, smaller print fabric. (The zigzag and sprocket fabrics are too lightly colored). JMHO. Can't wait to see how this works out!

Jingle 09-12-2017 04:21 PM

Never seen it, looks good and I think you should give it a try.

D.Henson 09-12-2017 05:54 PM

Interesting. I like it and can't wait to see a finished quilt. Fun pattern.

lots2do 09-13-2017 03:53 AM

I have a name for it: Interlocking Squares. I do like it a lot.

jmoore 09-14-2017 02:53 AM

I like the pattern arrangement and will be anxious to see how your fabrics make up the design.

momsbusy 09-14-2017 03:22 AM

Great design. I haven't seen it before.

katesnanna 09-14-2017 03:33 AM

I like it. It's so nice to see a new pattern. Well done.

Roxanne 09-14-2017 05:52 AM

I like it! Hope you decide to make it and post a picture.

bearisgray 09-14-2017 07:06 AM

I like the design you created - it looks sharp and clean in the solids you used.

I think you would lose some of the crispness of the design if you used the prints that you have shown us.

Cheshirecatquilter 09-14-2017 07:29 AM

This would be such fun to work up with darker colors placed beginning in the bottom left and shading gradually to lighter colors as you move to the upper right.

greaterexp 09-14-2017 09:54 AM

I think you deserve the honor if naming this pattern! Great idea!

mawluv 09-15-2017 02:05 AM

Great pattern, very interesting!!
