I often say I could be locked in my little sewing room and be perfectly content. Meals would have to be served in yours. It is absolutely beautiful. I am very happy for you. I would never want to leave.

My goodness!!! That looks like a fabric shop!!!! I love my room and was going to post pictures but there's no comparison. I think that's one of the nicest, largest sewing/craft areas I've seen posted. I would never cook, vacuum, dust again.... Only thing missing is a bed so you would never have to leave that room. You must be one happy camper.

You room is awesome!! Lucky you, and lucky you to still have your mom. My mom passed away almost 3 years ago and I miss her so much. She liked to sew and quilt. My interest in sewing and quilting came from her. She and I took our first quilting class years ago from Genie Barnes and it was all hand sewing! The sewing machines available these days are amazing in what they can do. If only I was a better quilter!!

And your mom must be in heaven to have a sewing room like that! Bet she didn't when she was younger. Does she live with you? Makes me miss my mom so much. I lost her at age 87. Simply amazing! This is a room I could enjoy staying in all day (and sometimes all night). How fortunate you are...Enjoy it for all of us that have to make do in a room or space not designed for crafts or sewing....The windows are great too for extra light. Enjoy! Enjoy!
