New sewing machine......

I am looking for a not so expensive sewing machine. Researched on the Brother PC 660 LA or the Brother PC 210 PRW. I would love a machine with a wider oppening between the neddle and the wall (girth) any advice

Determine which features are must haves for you e.g. wider throat. Take that list and look at the various manufacturers and determine which manufacturers make machines that fit your wish list. Go to local dealers and try out all of the machines. Good luck with your journey.

I quilted queen size quilt on my Bernina that has a throat size of 6.75". With good table support, it take little time to roll up the right side of the quilt and work out. I was very lucky in competition to have won my awards from the quilts I created. But get what you feel is best. Just like test driving a car, you got to get out and try various machines and have fun doing it.
