How about the book "Make It Simpler Paper Piecing" by Anita Grossman Solomon? Her method uses a pinless fold & sew technique that uses translucent foundation paper to simplify paper piecing. I bought the book a few years ago because I saw her do this method on an episode of Simply Quilts with Alex Amderson. She made it look easy, though I haven't gotten around to trying it myself. The book gives patterns for 30 traditional style blocks, including Hunter's Star. If anyone has tried this technique, I'd be interested in their input? Nita

Nita,
Thanks so much, sounds like what I am looking for as it is a Hunter's Star that I am making! Deb |
