Hi there another newbie question. I'm doing a D9P and at this point I have put the 9 patch together and squared the blocks. Getting ready to cut them in half and resew the blocks. After I resew them do I need to square them again before I start putting my rows together? I've looked on the search here and looked at tutes and found nothing about this? Thanks for your help.

Hi Dorene, I didn't square them up after I cut them and had no trouble at all. I did a King.

Thank you so much. Wanted to make sure before I started to put it together. It's for my SIL and it's my first big quilt so I'm trying very hard to do it right.

I found this pattern to be extremely easy and fun, just what I like :D
Hope you post pics!! I love that pattern.

I did square mine after they were resewn. They didn't need much.

I like to square up all of my blocks as I go, it makes for less problems the further along you get :D:D:D

It never hurts to recheck the size. Sometimes it's just a smidge and can easily be fixed "before" it's too late... :-)

Looking forward to your 'finished' photos. Good luck and have fun.

This is what I have so far. It's for my SIL who loves dark purple.
