This is also the quilt that sent me outside to mow the lawn when my 6" 9-patches turned out to be 3". Funny thing about "mistakes", that mistake turned out to be the saving block as my roommate and I tried every layout we could think of to make this quilt work. I have a large pile of 6" 9-patches that will probably get put on the back, but it's done, the baby is 3 months old, and the mother is in love with the quilt. I will never again start a quilt without a pattern!
