I'm with Dunster, I'd definitely go check the machine out, but I'd also find out more about the circumstances behind the sale and that price. It's been a month and it still hasn't sold? Is there something wrong with it, is it an estate sale, is it being sold by a husband who lost his wife and just wants it gone?

I think it's entirely within your rights to do your due diligence and ask questions. If it pisses them off, that's THEIR problem, NOT yours. Most normal people understand. It's the scammers that get mad.

Some of the newer longarms are 30". You could add a computer to it later if you are worried about not having a stitch regulator. Lots of people quilt without one. For that price I would jump on it. As long as it works, it could last for years.

Wellll I did spring for a cpl question. First to see if I could see it run. We'll see. And as someone else mentioned it is a commercial machine.
