Love your feed bag. Where did you get the instructions for it. I have about 20 my cousin gave me that I need to do something with.

They are pretty easy if you know how to make a tote nothing fancy. and when turn down the top edge you don't double fold it won't fray, make the handles and sew them on.
First I cut the bag (bottom off and the top where it is sewed togethetr) I only make the bottom as wide as the sides are empty you can see the folds from bottom to top. Measure how long I want the bag, add for squaring off the bottom, buy measuring fold to fold on the side and divide in half. Leave some for the top turn down I do at least an inch. Cut handles 3 inches wide to fold over cut to length you want. Sew bottom together, square bottom sew it. Fold down top sew it, fold handles sew them, then attach them and turn right side out and you are done.
Of course you do wash it. In hot soapy water as the dog food bags are a little like greasey. Plus the smell.
Now sewing them together my little Elna won't sew them leaves loops in thread, but my BabyLock will tight tention and slow not fast. I also used my walking foot it is sliperly. Sorry about the spelling.
You can do a search on line Dog Food Bag Totes to find another way to do them. The way I do mine is fine so I didn't save the link.

How did you get the smell and greasy feel out of the bags? I know the dog food bags feel greasy inside and smell of dog food.
