I use glycerin on my hands instead of the gloves or anything else. Just a few drops will do, and you can buy it at the grocery store on the medicine isle. This is what was recommended when I worked at a sewing factory years ago.

I saw on one of the quilting shows they actually make something like this, I foget what they are called. I'm sure your bright idea is a whole lot cheaper and a lot easier to find the items to make it. Good job, thanks for sharing.

What a great idea! I use Fons & Porter gloves but they also get hot in the summer especially. I'll be giving this a try. Thank you for the info
