I want to make this and would like an easy way to make the letters. I want/need to make three of them so tracing them is not a task I am looking forward to. Any and all help will be apprecited.

you can get a pack of iron on applique numbers/letters. Makes it super easy if the item will not be washed.

I agree, I would use stencils or applique also. You can google printable stencils. Love the wall hanging.

Just remember that if you use iron-on interfacing you must trace the letters and numbers mirrored/reversed.

Find a friend that has a Cricut. You can fuse wonder Under on the fabric and run it through. Works great with the right setting and blade.
