Fantastic job Bea, I wouldn't change a thing! The paisley pattern is really lovely and swirly and your cubes are great - I love them placed slightly to one side. You have the eye my dear! :-D
Have you thought about borders yet? Do you want to?  I'd go with a skinny inner border of one of the dark cube fabrics to really frame it off, before a lighter outer border then bind again in a dark. :-D Ignore me if you like of course - but those were the ideas leaping into my head while I looked at it. Wonderful! :D :D :D EDIT: went back for a second look - you were right to leave out the solid cube in your second pic - too dominant. Your final layout is perfect! :-D |
Hi Aunt Bea, I thing you did a wonderful job. I like the fabric you chose. My hats off to you for matching all those points and corners. Jeanniebelle

Good going! I got fabric to try one, but am trying to empty my plate a little first. By the time I get to it, everyone will have found a new thing to try out.

WOW, that is cool. Are the blocks considered OBW also?
|
love your pattern. Next on my list to do is a OBW cubed.
