That is so awesome! I have bought both books (the first one and the second) but have not got up the couage to try it yet.

I love them. They are so beautiful. I've posted a couple of times asking for a good, beginners book on OBW, but no one has ever responded with a book/designer name. PLEASE, PLEASE TELL ME WHAT RESOURCE YOU USED!!! I really don't want to spend the money on one that is too advanced.

There are 2 books I bought called one block wonder by maxine rosenthal and the 2nd is one block wonder encore. There is also a tutorial that cutebuns did here on the board. Hope that helps.

Beautiful!

Lovely to start with a "practice piece". Yours looks very nice, so now what is next?

I'm still not understanding what a OBW is. Is it one piece of fabric that you quilt lines into? In your case, did you only quilt diagonal lines or did you do something special to make the flowers "pop out"?

Hi: I love this board, but I don't get all the initials. Is there a
guide somewhere? What is OBW? what are all those initials that
people use to refer to relatives? Thanks, M.E.
