My second question which I am so open to any suggestion, is that I cut a lot of pieces ahead and now have a bunch left over after finishing the pinwheel quilt pictured as my avitar. Any idea what to do with the leftovers.

use it for a border for another quilt or make a table runner.

Cut them up into squares and save them for another project.

you might get a 2 inch sqaure out of them if that. Was trying to figure out the twister pattern with them and the border rows are a different piece. The way the twister is done is so much work thought I could outsmart them.
