I was on another forum when my kids were younger Mothering.com I think and they allowed folks to peg other users with a nickname that would appear below their screen name for a small fee... like $1 or less I think. It would stay there a few weeks and then disappear. It was both great for being able to publicly "thank" doers of great deeds by giving them titles like "queen of kindness" or something much more clever (I am not the brightest bulb and cannot remember but there were really cute and sometime tear jerking titles given) and for just having fun with a friend.

Just a thought, hope this is okay to post. And not posting because I've seen any money concerns brought up, but I do spend a lot of entertaining time here and wouldn't mind giving back a bit.

we won't be making any technical changes to the board for a while.

we will also never - i hope - make any changes that would have a price tag attached. our goal is to keep the board totally free to members.
