So anyway I told her I liked the blue one better (there was a blue and green-same price-riley blake's sugar and spice line). Today I get a box in the mail and here's what's in it:
3 Judy Neimeyer patterns
extra foundation papers for printing
purple thang (what do you use this for?)
add-a-quarter ruler
2 jelly rolls, one of which is a batik
2 charm packs
and BOTH of the fat quarter sets
Plus a few scrapbook magazines

My sister sends me fabric care packs all the time. I so lucky (and spoiled) to have such a great sis!!

Can I be her sister, too???

Sister Love! What a selfless sister you have! She sounds like a very special person. It's also nice to see how much you appreciate her.

That's so sweet! My youngest DD passes a LQS every day twice a day taking grands to school. When she has a little time to kill she'll stop in and ask What's new my Mom doesn't have? The owner knows me and always has something I think I need. LOL. I get all the new quilting gadgets from DD. I told her they will all be hers one day so may as well buy them now.

You are so fortunate to have such a generous loving sister. The Purple Thang is used to turn corners right side out, ie. you make a pillow, turn it right side out, and use the purple thang to get the corners pushed out. You can also use it as a stiletto...holding those seam allowances in position before they go under the needle. Make sense?

WOW, great sister. Can I borrow her?? LOL

If she knits ~ have you seen the fabric baskets? They are adorable, and I hope to make about a dozen for my sewing room reorganization ~ here are a couple different baskets I've found, they're easy to make in HER fave colors...

Would be great to hold her yarns / needles / WIP :)

trim goes on top edge of these, then ties to make corners
