I was going through my flannel prints and I moved a big plastic bag of fleece, guess what was under it??

a serger I had totally forgotten I had! It is a 3 thread and I use a 4 thread now. I put it there several years ago "just in case"..

ha ha!! I need to destash more, who knows what I will find :)

hperttula123 10-16-2010 07:29 AM

amma 10-16-2010 08:08 AM

I think you win the prize for forgetting about stashing a machine LOL

Annaquilts 10-16-2010 08:12 AM

Now that is a wonderful surprise. I wished I find one. LOL

fidgety 10-16-2010 08:52 AM

LaurieJane 10-16-2010 11:55 AM

Ok, so I have been missing a few things in my sewing room, so I better destash right now!

Thanks for the great story, it made me smile.

SewExtremeSeams 10-16-2010 12:02 PM

Funny. A few months ago while cleaning out our garage for more 'storing' space, my DH brought in a portable vintage sewing machine I had totally forgotten about.

It did embarrass me AND then, it made me worry about my memory LOL LOL

fabric_fancy 10-16-2010 12:41 PM

lol, how many machines do you have that you're forgetting about them

laralea 10-16-2010 12:43 PM

Funny... thanks for the giggle!

MaryAnna 10-16-2010 12:45 PM

Ok, you've got way too much stuff if you've found a serger under all that fabric! If you don't know what to do with all that fabric, just give me a call...we're in neighboring towns!
Kind Regards,
MaryAnna

Have you thought about selling it since you have another one, my daughter in law needs one?

kriscraft99 10-17-2010 07:29 AM

It was my mother's, a 3 thread, I don't know if I even have the book ~ if you think you might be interested, pm me. I'll pull it out and check it out before it gets lost again
