I tried and found a shop in TEXAS. Nice though but showing up in TEXAS for my name sake is ..... to far to go for long arm instruction. Tee-Hee-Hee! Fun little diversion.

I was surprised to find "Maire's block" didn't expect to find anything. Of course there were a lot of Marie's because everyone, even the Internet, assume I misspelled my name.
Maire |
Maire, I know that you did not misspell your name because that was my mother's name. Her middle name was Evangilista. (Her mother was reading a book with that name in it.) Eventually she just answered to Marie and that became her legal name. She was born in 1911; such a long time ago.
Best wishes to you and your name. Kathleen |
Oh Dear!! How many "Dear Jane"'s can there be. Nothing but!

I did my name "Ila" and didn't come up with much but there is a quilt studio in Oregon and an author who wrote a book called "Patchwork Quilt" about an early 19th century family.
This was a really cool idea! I am going to continue to research Ila's quilts and see what else I can come up with! |
It's surprising to me3 considering how few people I've met in the past 77 years with my name Yvonne yet when I googled " Yvonne's quilt", page after page of quilts and shops popped up...amazing....fun...never tried that before

I searched Pam and found Pam Holland's quilts.... Wow!
|
There are a few with my name.
|
My name is spelled differently too, but of course the Internet assumes I can't spell... With the traditional spelling 2 Quilt shops with the same name "Michelle's Quilts and Things came up: one in Hughesville, Maryland and one in Illinois. Also a quilt artist in the southwest, a longarmer and someone who does YouTube quilt demos :-)
