My Judy Martin book with the Shakespeare in the Park pattern should have been delivered today. It wasn't!
I'm traveling to Mary Jane's cloth shop on Monday to purchase fabric and don't have a clue how much I need to make this in a king size.
I want to make it in two colors only. Does anyone have this book, and can you help me with this information?
I'll take my laptop along in hope someone can help.

Ok, I have the book

The directions in the book are for a twin size.
for a twin you need
5 1/2 yards cream prints
5 1/2 yds blue prints
1 3/4 yds edge triangles
3/4 yd for binding
8 1/2 for the backing
This is for a 76 1/2 by 93 1/2 quilt.

The blocks are 12 x 6 set 4 x 5 for the twin.
to increase to queen it calls for another row to the width. which I guess brings it to a 93 1/2 square. The blocks are set diagonally and would be a 5 x 5 setting for queen. so going from twin with 20 blocks to queen is 25 blocks, an increase of 25% Maybe for king you need one row each direction for a 6 x 6 setting. That's 36 blocks. That would mean that you need double the fabric? No, that doesn't sound right. Hope fully you have studied this pattern. I will keep looking in the book for hints of what to do for a King

No hints for a King. I know that you don't need to double the backing size. Hopefully where ever you are buying the fabric they can help you a little with increasing the amounts you need for a king
