Well my first venture did not work too well, so I will try again to load the picture of the Runner I would like to make! Sorry.

Wow, did you make that one? It's fabulous.

auntpiggylpn 08-08-2011 06:26 PM

I have the ruler and the pattern for this but it just sits on the shelf, waiting it's turn!!!

ChrisPin 08-08-2011 06:29 PM

no, I am just holding up for the picture so I could try to make it...without the class.

ChrisPin 08-08-2011 06:30 PM

Will you please tell me the names of the ruler and pattern???

erstan947 08-08-2011 06:30 PM

They are really fun to make and have such a WOW factor:)

It is the Spicy Spiral Table Runner and 10 degree wedge ruler. It is from Phillips Fiber Arts.

Little pricey for the ruler but I felt I deserved it!!!

awesome,.... sigh.. maybe someday!!

Phannie1 08-08-2011 06:38 PM

that is different. I like the colors but I would not have a table large enought to use it.

I have made one and took out a few of the center (larger) sections to make it a little smaller. I don't have it here, but I think I took out 6 from each side and it is still probably 32 inches long.

ChrisPin 08-08-2011 07:08 PM

I want to make mine longer!

Nice,

I like it. It looks hard. I hopes its not. You'll have to let us know how it goes.

Cutting the first one of these had me pulling my hair out, but it sewed together like a dream and I was hooked. I've made 4 of them now and like someone said - it has alot of WOW factor.

For a faster runner, use a striped fabric instead of sewing together strips. . .

I made one for Christmas this past year. Did not take a class. I had no problems with it. I read the directions several times through before starting and then kept reading as I went. I thought it was very fun and love the look. Hope to do a few more for gifts this year.

I also made it without a class. It is so much easier than it seems when you are looking at it. Read directions several times first and don't wait to make it when you are under a time limit, that's when mistakes are made. It has high WOW factor!
