Several years ago my mom asked me what I wanted of her stuff. She was making her will. I said the only thing I'd like to have is her embroidery machine and all that goes with it. Fast forward to now... her health has declined to the point that she no longer sews or embroiders. I have had several opportunities of late to do things for others that I had to pass up due to no embroidering capabilities on my machine. My husband had me ask her what she'd charge for the machine now. She called the other night and said - for two queen size quilts she will give me the machine - go figure!!! So, in September I will have an $8,000 machine for the price of one queen size quilt and the backing/batting of another (she bought the fabric for one already!)

I am sorry that your mom cannot use it any longer but am happy that it has found a home where it will be used, loved and appreciated. Best wishes to your mom and I hope you have years of enjoyment with the machine.
