I say chuck it somewhere till you have more time, for now.. more important to have quality time with 1 year old. Prob not a good play toy anyway.

I am LOL, too. You're right, the playpen would certainly hold the fabric!! Then of course the child that doesn't like the playpen would decide that's the best place to play!! This child is busy, busy all the time. I call him "rubber band man" cause he has arms like rubber bands...just when you think everything is out of his reach....whap, it's in his hands or on the floor.

I was just there -- it took half a day to cram the fabric into nooks and crannies since all the bedrooms were going to be occupied. When I start cleaning, I haul out everything so the mess is lengendary.

Playpens don't work well with walking kids. They hate it!

No, put YOU In the playpen for a rest.
Then when you climb out, remove thumb from mouth, try to straighten up to a standing position, bend legs to get a good start on a dead run to keep GK out of trouble...repeat for rest of the day with 5 minute intervals for YOUR rest in playpen.

Well, he ARRIVED! Daddy (my son) delivered him straight from a cookout. He was covered with watermelon juice but that's ok cause he's a Southern boy. He had his new 'squeak" sandals on (a new thing for babies) so he didn't want to come inside. He wanted to hear his shoes squeak. Once inside he decided he really liked the fabric that I had stacked ready to sort until he spotted my mini laptop. Grinned from ear to ear! Had to hide it. Then he had to "investigate" with me right behind him so he wouldn't get hurt. Then on to bath to wash off watermelon juice, not too bad, didn't drown the bathroom. Wrestled to get his diaper on and "I' ended up with Desitin all over me. Got PJ's on, gave him some milk, found his "paci". He was still running around. Suddenly he laid his sweet little blonde head over on the coffee table and was soooo pitiful. I picked him up, love and kisses all over his now sweet smelling baby self, and put him to bed. Have heard not a peep out of him!!

Came to sit/lay on couch and looked around....why did I do all that cleaning today?????? And he was only here for 2 hours total before bedtime!!

Ahhh, Nana love!!

My 3 year old niece loves putting scraps on and off of the design wall.

It's just as wild and messy at my house, whether it's my 3 yr old niece or my 10 and 12 yr old nieces!
