OK to stitch in reverse with Juki TL-2010Q and Janome walking foot?

Hi, I am new to this forum and would love your help. I have ordered a Juki TL-2010Q and it arrives on Saturday! I read a lot of posts in this forum about the Juki and learned a lot (thank you for all the info!), including that the Janome walking foot for high shank machines is great and quieter than the Juki one, so I have that coming as well.

My question is: is it ok to back stitch/stitch in reverse with the Janome walking foot on the Juki?

Thanks very much.

I don't know the answer because i don't have those machines but I want to welcome you to this board. I am in Arizona.

I was told by a Juki tech not to use the reverse stitch with the walking foot because all add on walking feet are made to go in the forward direction. I don't think a couple of reverse stitches will do any harm.

I heard the same but try looking it up for your machine online or call a shop!!

I have a Juki TL98 series and I back stitch making miters and does not hurt the Juki walking foot.
