I read somewhere that you can use the dryer sheets (after they are used) as a backing to crazy quilt or reinforce. Would it be like interfacing? It kind of looks like it but is it made from the same stuff?
Stuff is a technical term.

I've used it... make sure you get unsented! Or use ones that have already been through the dryer... otherwise the "fresh" smell can knock you over!

When I first began doing appique, I used (used) dryer sheets to make my pieces. You just sew the dryer sheet to the right side of the fabric, make a slit in the dryer sheet, turn, press, and voila! You're edges are all turned under for you. :)

I also use used dryer sheets for applique. My hearts and my Sunbonnet Sue are always done this way.
It took me afew tries to learn to put the dryer sheet on the right side of the fabric!!! lol

Happy New Year!!
