The "Little Twister" is calling me, also, I have some
hand quilting that I want to get done. My list of
want to do's are endless.

I have an old quilt top made by my great aunt that I am trying to get handquilted.

My 99.5 year old father-in-law recently passed away and I want to make quilts or stuffed animals with some of his clothing for his grand-children and great-grandchildren. He lived with us and we were blessed to have him with us for 6 years. It will by my opportunity to honor his memory. If anyone has any hints to help me out with this adventure, I am all "ears"

I agree with SugarD - One-Block-Wonder. I'm frozen with fear that I'll choose the wrong fabric, cut it wrong, not sew together correctly, or not like it once I get it done.

I just finished my 1st OBW, so that's off my list.

I have a 'Thank you' quilt to make for a friend who helped DD move. I'll let her decide what pattern she wants. It will be a scrappy from clothes she an her DH no longer wear. She loves the 4 scrappies I've made for DD. That will be my first project when I return to CT - leaving Tucson on Saturday - before the 100s arrive - before we miss the CT spring.

Then, I want to make a series of quilts from the striped fabrics I've been collecting for a few years. Lots of ideas. I will probably upgrade from QE5 to QE7 to play with the designs in my head on the computer before I do any cutting. Sounds like a good excuse, doesn't it?!

I am brand new to quilting but already have a long dream list in my head from all the pics on the board.

I need to finish the half square baby quilt for my little one,
2 coin quilts for my friends adopted girls,
a "handprint" themed quilt of my 3 little girls,
scrappy log cabin,
grandmothers flower garden,
puzzle quilt,
a patriotic themed quilt to give to an injured soldier
and so many, many more.

2. sampler
3. any paper pieced
4. Appliquiet apples quilt (finishing for a friend)
5. double wedding ring
6. dresden plate.

the list goes on

I'd love to make a bargello quilt, another Hunter's Star, a Lone Star, a Bella Bella quilt, and to learn how to FMQ.
