I've used vinegar to remove adhesive from things.

Rubbing alcohol and rubbing off or Goo Gone would be my suggestions, other wise it loose the piece of fabric where the glue is.

I use rubber cement thinner, and then launder, in fact rubber cement thinner works on just about all adhesive labels and so far I havent found many bases that it will attack. One type of plastic, so I test on plastics.

You could try putting paper towel over the glue spot and ironing it. The glue will stick to the towel-just keep moving paper towel until its gone.

Ahh... WD-40 and Duct tape.. where would the world be without them??
|
Try a handsanitizer.

Thank you all for the great suggestions. I'll tell my friend and we'll see what happens. One of those should do the trick though.
Thank you all so much. What a great group of friends I have found on this board and it's so much fun too. Lucille |

I used an iron to heat it up and the glue came right off
