olfa 17 x 17 rotating self-healing rotary mat
Hi - do any of you have one of these? is it worth the cost?
Thanks! |
I have 3 rotating mats and the Olfa is my least favorite. It does not rotate smoothly.
Mathilda and Martelli mats are so much better. |
I do not have any "official" rotating mats.
I haven't been convinced that the costs are worth the benefits. Instead, if I am wanting the rotating feature, I use a smaller mat, that is easy enough to turn, after I have done the cutting I want, in the first position. It Works! |

The Martelli mat is on ball bearings and turns very smoothly .I wouldn't be without mine!

I have the 12 x 12 Olfa and love it. Got it at Joanns years ago with a 50 off coupon. It spins fine for me.
|
I have both the large and small Olfa rotating mats and love using them. I've never had an issue with them not rotating properly.

I have several and yet do what several have already reported - put my 12x18 mat on top of the 36x60 mat and just turn it as needed. Never had any problem.
