i have the pink one and i love it.

I have the yellow one ! Was heartbroken when it stopped heating. Wasn’t ready to buy a new one because they are so expensive. Read somewhere that Oliso will repair/replace for a $60 fee (I think). So i packed mine up, paid and got a wonderful new one in return. I do not use any water in it. Love the auto lift feature. It is a challenge to use a different style of iron at retreats but haven’t scorched anything yet!

Mine lasted a year and a half, then one day it just decided not to get hot anymore. Past the warranty period and I threw it away. Very disappointed! I now use an iron made by "General Mills." It's probably as old as I am and works every day like new.

For me, absolutely. After going through 3 Rowentas, I was done with that brand. I purchased an Oliso after using one at a quilt shop. I have had mine (pink Oliso Pro) for almost 2 years. I definitely would purchase another. It does take a little usage to get use to the auto lift feature.

I really wanted one but read too many bad reviews about longevity. I'm starting to buy cheaper irons these days.
And I don't use steam. I have a bottle with a nice mister for that. |

I just came back from a week long retreat and members volunteered to bring the ironing boards. Before the first day was over all 4 boards had scorched covers from the Olsio users being used to leaving them down. There were some pretty mad board owners. So my question would be do you ever iron with others or is all your ironing done at home?
Consider carefully before purchasing one. |
I had no problems with mine until about 10 days after the warranty was up. My iron at times does not shut off automatically after the 30 minutes of non-use. As a rule I always unplug my iron after I am finished with my work but there have been times that I just forgot and when I realized it, the iron was still on. Now I have to always turn the iron off and I pray that I don't forget again. Man was I bummed. I did complain to customer service and was told I could send it back for the $60 but I did not. I will not get another Oliso when I have to get a new iron.

I have I believe the original one (teal) I love my Oliso iron. My iron is somewhere between 10 & 12 years old I also have a Panasonic cordless iron that I use mostly for big yardage.
