My Rowenta spits water, too, and I have an Oliso but have somehow fallen into the Rowenta habit. Maybe it's time to dig out the Oliso again because I really did love the steam. The weight of my Rowenta has kept in on the ironing board, but the Oliso gets hotter and doesn't spit. Everybody's right - the foot thing takes some getting used to.
