Olympic fabric
Do any of you, perhaps a quilt shop owner or worker, know if the fabrics used in the Olympics this year will be available for sale anytime soon. I am just fascinated by the vest like things that each contestant wears because it resembles a patchwork quilt. Each type of sport seems to have it's own color scheme. Even the venue seating areas are decorated with the same designs. I just never thought of Russia in the same sentence as "quilting". So far I have seen a red/pink version, a blue/green version and a brown/tan version. I am not much of a sports fan but it is hard not to turn on the TV and not catch a glimpse I would love to get my hands on some of that fabric if it exists.
