The template is 3x3 and the diresctions call for 5" squares.

I thought it was 1.5 inches larger than the template ....I use 5 inch cut for my 3.5 inch twister.
Is the template 2 1/2 or 2 1/4 square . I had one cut at 2 /12 because cutting is made easier with adding my 1.5 inch equals 4 inch cut squares.
