Good deal. Thank you for both verifying the similarities and differences. The Tutorial link is a great place to fine all kinds of tutorials. I might have to get the Kaleidoscope Ruler. Thank you all so much.

The book Quilter's Bounty by Robin Strobel
has is a good book for kaleidoscope and other great patterns

Also, doesn't Rhonda have a Kaliedescope information on this board?

I do the one block wonder and that is generally pretty easy.

Check out Jinny Beyer's website, she has a tute on the OBW.

Stack n whack is close to the OBW except you have to match up your fabric more specifically.

The ladies have posted some good info.

I think the look is different for OBW and Stack and Whack because the OBW blocks are joined edge to edge, while the other one usually has the blocks separated by other fabric. There often are not as many blocks in a S&W, so the design is focused on each individual block. In a OBW, the blocks form a kind of blended overall effect.

bethany reynolds wrote a book stack and whack and there is one on one block wonder but i can not think of the author go to amazon.com and they will tell you.
