When you find an amazing quilt shop, well, all bets are off!

I hate it when that happens! I have been trying hard to not buy any more fabric. I had to go to Joann's today to get some black pellon. Holy Cow! The parking lot was packed they were having a huge sale. I had to turn around a walk out without the pellon, I have no will power.

I have trouble stopping the buying too!!!
There are just too many pretty fabrics out there that call my name!!

Went to JoAnns today for Pellon for more totes, coupons in hand. The lines to cut were so long it was at least a 2 hour wait. There was only one person cutting and they had run out of numbers, so people were crowding.... I left without my Pellon

I think the Farmer's Almanac is predicting a long winter--you may need extra fabric to make it through. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!

Sometimes I just go to look and not buy but that is darn difficult!

Patty Patches 09-03-2010 05:42 PM

I wish I could put a dent in the fabric I have but it is hard to use it all up when I just keep buying more. There is a store called Hammers here in Winchester having a sale on quilters cottons Memorial Day. I plan on being there. I have a addiction and it makes me happy. I my house if momma aint happy nobody is happy.

I found a really great quilt shop today too! Glad its far from me, or I would be there way to much!

Oh does that sound familiar. I went to my local small LQS and came out $60 later.

someone said quilting isnt a habit but a necessity. So there you need the fabric to make the quilts!

I know you can have too much fabric. Case in point. I have been selling for almost a month or so and still have a roomful. Half of it will go for sale, the other half, I am keeping and hopefully going to use. How much have I sold. Well, I have 246 names in my Quilting Board address book and those are addresses of people who have ordered from me and does not account for multiple orders. ROFL. I may have to rethink that I am just clearing my stash to being a bonified seller. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH
