One more ? for today......
 

I am going to use minky fabric for the first time for a backing on this quilt for my GS1.

I have always sewn my binding on the front and hand sewn onto the back.....do you increase the size of your binding for the bulk of the minky fabric?

I have quilted several minky-backed quilts and I have not increased the width of the binding. I cut 2 1/2 inch strips, but I sew to the back and then bring it around and sew to the front , all by machine. The minky does not really add a lot of bulk.
