SWEETPEACHES 09-14-2011 05:09 PM

I've bought from fabric.com (a little expensive) and connecting threads (good prices)

What other online fabric stores are there. I'm looking for some beautiful floral fabric (state flowers would be perfect if I could find each state).

Any suggestions? Thanks

www.theoldcountrystore.com is a good site

Here are a slew of online shops - these are the two big search sites, with hundreds of shops each:
http://quiltshops.com/cgi-server/qui...pdisplay-a.cgi
http://webstore.quiltropolis.net/mal...uilt-shops.asp

There are also scores/hundreds of shops online NOT affiliated with the above two sites. Prices are all over the map, but the one shop with more expensive fabric might be the only one that has the fabric you've been searching for forever. You never know. You have to learn to do your own homework and searching to get the best deal for YOU.

What a great website! Haven't found exactly what I'm looking for yet, but they have beautiful fabrics.

I also find good buys or hard to find fabrics on Ebay...especially if you find one place, and get combined shipping...

I also like Thousands of Bolts www.thousandsofbolts.com - and www.bearpawquilting.com - both excellent service and good prices - I spend hours looking, putting things in my shopping basket, all just to feel like I am really shopping, then wipe out the basket and sign off. No fabrics coming, but had fun! I have bought from both these places before and currently still drooling over Thousands of Bolts Northcott Stonehenge line that is on sale!

Almost forgot...quilt in a day!! Great sales.
