Black sashing but narrow. Maybe finished at 1/2" or so. Wide would detract from the blocks. narrow would separate the blocks individually but still allow the block colors to blend together.

I, too, vote for the black sashing, it sure would set the darling blocks off IMHO.....

I like your quilt and the top is great without sashing or with a black sashing. It's going to be great.

[QUOTE=omacookie;6774180]Since you seem to have a strip of black in most of them I would sash it in black. A multly bright could be used as a border.[/QUOTE
I agree completely. Black sashing is exactly what I would do. Should be very striking, and the black will ground it nicely. |
I would go with the black sashing as others have suggested.
Love your circles! |
I think they need sashing and that black sashing would be great, along with a black border. This is going to be a great quilt. froggyintexas

If you want to see how it looks with sashing audition the blocks on yardage of the color sashing you might use. Doesn't have to be the same fabric but would help without cutting up fabric.

I say no sashing, use your quilting design and color of thread to help the eye.

Definitely go with the black sashing and audition black and/or brightly colored borders.
