I got a new baby today a Memory Craft Janome 10001. Does anyone have one and how do you like it? I got her at Missouri Machine Company, she was a trade in the owner upgraded to the 11000. The salesperson assured me that she was loved but not overly loved and was serviced when it was suppose to be, they have a full year warranty on everything. She was purchased from them orginally so they know her history and she looks like they just took her out of the box. I am anxious to hear from everyone that has or has had one.

heehee, kind of late now. Take her for a spin. Work her out.

That is a wonderful machine! I had one for years and only sold it to buy an upgraded machine! You will get a lot of pleasure out of it I am sure.

LOL Debrak, your right its a little late now but when you go from a $100 Singer to a Janome guess I just need some reassurance that I did good LOL

Good machine...great choice. I am a Janome girl. I have owned other machines, but, remain faithful to Janome. The MemoryCraft 10001 is a great machine and very versatile. As Debra said: take her for a run, experiment and most of all, have fun.

Janomes are the greatest machines I have several they are hard workers and give all they can to their owners. You will be completely satisfied with this machine

I have that machine and love it. I bought it three years ago and never had a problem. Have downloaded emb. disigns off the computor and they look great. My grandson came over and used my machine and said "Gram, you are not using this to its fullest capabilities" smart kid lOL Of coarse I have the 9000 for back up, that is 15 yrs old and still working great. Bought the reader writer box so I can use the emb cards from the 90000 im my 10001. well thats more info. than you probably want but Janome makes and excellent machine.

i have the memory craft 8000 and if you have half the pleasure from your new baby that i have from my old one, than you'll never be sorry you have it. if i want anything newer i'll get another machine, because i'll never part with my banged up, traveled everywhere, workhorse of a machine. i have 3 other machines in use also and this has always been my favorite.

I am not familiar with that one but have several Janomes for many years. I have been happy with all of them.

I've owned a Janome 9000, 10000(1), 11000, and now, I've just got my 12000. I also own a Janome Gem to take with me. All the Janomes are good machines. I must say of all of them, so far, it's the 11000 that stands out. I'm hoping I can get the 12000 down as well as I did the others. It's going to be a challenge. But you should have no problems with your new machine. Your dealer would help you with whatever questions you may have. Good luck

I have a MC10000 and I am more than happy. The two friends I sew with have later versions ( Janome 11000 & Quatro)
but I manage to do more embroidery because mine is pretty straight forward. I think you will be more than happy with the Janome and I hope you have as much fun as I do. If you haven't had an embroidery machine before Look on the internet for free embroideries, there are 1000's out there. Embroidery Library is a good site at very reasonable prices. I have also bought a lot from Adorable Applique. They have specials I think on Wednesday & Thursday. The sale designs sell for 7 cents or 75 cents. All very cute because I make mainly children's quilts. What I do when I buy from a new site is do a couple of stitchouts on muslin. This is advisable for freebies too. You are in for some real fun. |
