I like the light blue for sashing because the dark blue blends more with the blocks that have blue frames. The light blue stands out better against the narrow blue frames of the blocks.

Well, I’ve been doing the math and I don’t have enough of either fabric to do what I wanted to do, 2 inch finished sashing. If I cut carefully and don’t make any mistakes, I think I can do 1.5 inch light blue sashing with dark blue cornerstones. Then I can add 3 inch finished dark blue border. Wish me luck.

This quilt started out life as a panel and now has a life of it’s own.

I think there is a little better definition with the light blue sashing. The dark blue cornerstones will stand out and not blend with the blue frames.
