My husband is a musician so the house is brimming with instruments! (Who needs a blue trumpet? Evidently I can answer that question LOL) Being a bass and tuba player is an expensive proposition, but I there isn't much more soothing than listening to him play...

With mine it is all sorts of fishing stuff and a good boat and all its accessories..............and then he gets it on the water maybe twice a year. I wouldn't mind so much if he would just use it instead of just looking at it and showing it off!!! At least I do use all my 'stuff'!

Wood and metal working during the summer, hunting during the winter. He's an avid reader too. He can spend all day in his shop and forget about time, same as I do in my sewing room.

My Darling husband has a 63' split rear window corvette, a 95' convertable hardtop corvette, a 57' Nomad, a 94' Vulcan motorcycle,and a Hotrod 'T' bucket; and if he wanted more ,I'd say go for it! he is always VERY supportive of my hobbies, and never questions what I spend money on. I LOVE THAT MAN

His 67 Ford Fairlane convertible,candy apple red & near mint.A Ford Ranger he's making purty :-),plus a 2 room garage full of tools. He keeps our vehicles in top running condition & repairs most anything in the house.He builds bird houses & does all his own yard work. Whew.....come to think of it, quilting is cheap compared to his interests.

My husband has a fully equipped cabinet shop. He has another demanding profession so not too many things get built. We are building kitchen cabinets now and will continue for another year or two. Maybe when he retires I can then get some storage cabinets made for my quilting room. I'm glad he has a hobby also.

My DH cooks and has a 1979 Olds that keeps him busy.

Bass boat & all the fishing gear that involves, hunting & guns, golf clubs galore, camper trailer, splitting wood for the new wood stove & a really nice Dyson Vac - Hey, he uses it well!

My husband needs a hobby. LOL

He doesn't fuss about me spending on fabric and sewing "stuff" - he spends plenty on random "stuff" (like the two helmets for free fall parachuting at work, even though they issue one, or the super high tech hiking bag for work that he has never used, or the guitar that he doesn't know how to play and sits in our closet that he bought because he decided he needed a hobby). What he fusses about is me spending hours and hours USING them!

My DH has an airplane which he takes me to quilts shops - can't complain there. He also restores pinball machines from the 80's. He is in his "Man Cave" working on his machines while I am in what he calls the "Bat Cave" quilting. Works out quite well.
