I'm going to try using the pounce after tracing it onto tracing paper and needle punching the paper I'll place it over the fabric like a stencil and use the pounce powder. I think golden threads shows a tutorial on how to do it.

Fat Cat Patterns has a free BOM with owls. However, it goes through August 2014! The first two patterns, February and March, are no longer free.
