I worked on a MemoryCraft 6600 at our local Project Linus get-togethers. These are very nice machines.

I have a Phaff Quilt expressions 4.0. I love it. I have had it for about 7 months now and I can't say enough about how great it is. Check it out for all the bells and whistles and the quality you get for the money.

You might check other reviews areas, I know the one I went too had me very discouraged about the machine, but I did more research on it, went to my local dealer and I must say I have not had one single problem with it.

I'm sure she will be happy with whatever machine you decide to get her. Good luck

Pam

I didn't get my machine for Christmas but in September for 35th anniversary. It is a Phaff Creative Vision 5.0 but updated to the 5.5. I had used it during a Betty Cotton class and absolutely loved it. My old Janome would not do any embroidery and I was ready to venture into that area. I haven't even really learned to use the machine but hope to get my sewing room reorganized so it can get set up and I can start playing with it.

Good luck everyone and happy sewing.

I got a baby lock decorator's choice. So far I have no clue how to use all the fun features, but I'm enjoying the blanket stitch.

Ok, so it wasn't this past Christmas, but Christmas 08, I bought a much needed Janome 6600 P.

Absolutely love it.

My husband ordered an ABM Innova 26" longarm! I think he got tired of all the time I spent quilting a quilt for a benefit auction that only went for $155. I know it was a totally different style than the really nice appliqued, etc. other quilts that sold, but I was disappointed. The Innova is supposed to get here next weed. I think this one will be Christmas gift for many years to come!

I got a Singer Featherweight before Christmas. Haven't been able to use it yet with school and gum surgery. It's the centennial edition and beautiful. Let me know how you like yours!
