This site looks like a good place for thread. Has anyone purchased from them?

oooh, they do have a nice display for matching. I've not ordered from them before but have seen the site and am interested in ordering some patterns...since it will probably be several years before I make to HI.

Interesting that they use cotton thread for applique. I was told to order silk.

I have not bought - only drooled over the Hawaiian quilts.

Yes, I have. Love that aurifil. It came really fast too. I've done two of their reverse applique patterns and have two more in the wings.

Thanks for posting...i was wondering about the 100% cotton. Do you find it shrinks after quilting?

I took a class from Nancy a few years ago. Can you believe she does her needle turn applique on the bus commuting to Seattle each day?

I would recommend anything from her she has amazing quality of stuff.

Nancy Chong came to our guild for a class and recommended the Aurifil threat, I love it...I bought the applique thread and the piecing thread in 3 colors....her shipping was $2.95 (unheard of) and she said they were keeping it at that price as long as they could. She is a great lady and good teacher
