I am hoping to get to go. If all goes well. :) I plan to take cash only. This way I am limited on my spending-so I won't go way overboard (I will be going on payday!) HA!

:)

Have fun!!! Wish I could go!! :)

I have seen this case on TV, slim metal billfold, would easily fit in a back pocket. Check out "as seen on TV " site

I bought a small "wallet on a string" type purse (goes crossways across my body) for the Cincinnati show. Hold everything I need and is small, lightweight and handy. I also have a light nylon backpack I use to carry my purchases.

Don't you have a debit card issued by your bank??Will take whatever you spend right from your checking account. No cash, no credit card!

I love the Yo Yo's table. Last year the ladies were demoing how to make the most amazing 3D quilt block from a charm square using only four pins and a quick whip stitch. I showed my guild members and everyone loved making them. The yo yo quilt for raffle is always stunning. Buy a ticket!

I do that now and a pocket was not necessary. Yes you'll have a few raised eyebrows along with some big smiles.I put one on each side (I don't want the girls to feel that I favor one over the other LOL)

All the vendors are happy to take cash, credit card and some will even take a personal check with ID. I usually have lots of pockets and an over the shoulder (across the body) bag. Good pair of shoes (well broken in) fashion stops at the knees. Comfortable clothes. Leave fashion at home, for me is jeans a pull over shirt and light sweatshirt type jacket for when its cold. Keep a mini umbrella in my bag and a small flashlight. I know that sounds strange, but have had power outage a couple times in a huge auditorium. It really gets dark in there then. Pull out my tiny light and I'm still shopping. grin.

My credit card company called me asking if I was in China - I wasn't so they did the same for me - cancelled my card and reissued a new one. We were going to go to Belgium a couple of weeks later so I called them and said. "I'll be in Belgium so don't worry if you see charges from there." Always a good idea so that they don't stop a transaction.

Whenever we go on vacation or travel I always call the credit card co. and tell them where we are going so they know if they see charges from there that it is legit.

Hey, I am a fanny pack girl, too. My daughter thinks that they are so uncool. I don't care. It takes the strain of carrying a purse off of my arm or shoulder. The little across the body flat purses don't look good on me.

I do the same thing when I go to quilt shows. $50 in the bra and one in my pocket. It is better than trying to get into my back pack all the time. I reread all the posts and found that I will stick to taking just my cash instead of cards. That way what ever money I have for the day is the only money I spend. Most of the time I never spend it all, I only buy what I need and maybe some thing I know I won't be able to get close to home stores. Thanks for all the information about protecting the cards. Happy Easter Every one.
